Woolworth Co.® brand, following the acquisition of its operating license from previous operator Cinderblock Interactive LLC, a company operated by Chief Executive Officer Christina Sees of New Jersey. Cinderblock & Sees were integral in nursing and reviving the legacy 'Woolworth' brand as an e-commerce platform, operating the firm independently of VMI (a Camden, NJ based company) since her departure from VMI in 2017. In August of 2021, an agreement was reached by which VMI would purchase all remaining interest & assets as it prepares to refocus the brand on the confections industry (departing from the retail sector) with the goal of allowing the brand to thrive in manufacturing and e-commerce by partnering with Amazon and emphasizing direct sales of its forthcoming product lines in 2022. Victor CEO, Graham Alexander, has pushed for diversification of Victor's overall brand and product offerings since March of 2020, adding that "Victor is prepared to do what it needs to do to support musicians and creatives...even if it means expanding our revenue bases laterally, we are incredibly proud of the work we've done since March of 2020 in expanding our products lines to include even more financial stability than ever in our musical ecosystem and we are incredibly happy to welcome Woolworth's back to the Victor family after many years under great leadership by Cinderblock & Christina Sees." VMI expects to relaunch the confections-focused F.W. Woolworth Co. brand in Q1 of 2022.
